Dream Catcher TRC Commemorative Tea Towel

Therapeutic horse riding centers are places where people young and old can go to build physical and emotional confidence through the embodied experience of professionally guided horsemanship.

One organization that is making a big difference in Oregon, is Dream Catcher Therapeutic Riding Center, run by Morgan Matteson, PATH Intl. Certified Instructor, and Executive Director. Like many non-profits, operational budgets need to be supplemented by fundraising, donations, and fun, gala-type events such as their 3rd annual Chocolate Derby Event.

This commemorative tea towel was created from an original painting, inspired by shades of chocolate, crimson roses, and Dream Catcher TRC's logo. The two blue lines becoming one line going forward on the horse, signifies the healing opportunity that horses can bring humans. Participants who at one point in their life were told, “You can’t”, are in fact discovering that “They CAN!”

The tea towel fabric is printed using permanent reactive inks that bond with the cell of the fiber, so the color will hold up to washing. The combo of organic cotton and hemp makes a strong textile. Hemp also gets softer with age, so this towel will wear beautifully!
