The token white leghorn of our flock established herself as the alpha-chick from day one. Even as a young pullet, which is chicken-speak for teenager, this girl was always in front of the flock to try the newest 'treat'.

Be it black soldier fly larva, hemp-seeds still on the stock, or green table grapes, this bird was an equal opportunity grazer. No surprise about the 'wine amore' since this breed is originally from the Tuscany region of Italy!

What better name for this little rebel than Blondie? She was the Lady-Love to our Jagger, a black-feathered-iridescent green strutting rooster. The two of them would have these random love-gazing moments. She was his 'Rapture'...and he was her 'Beast of Burden' with a 'Heart of Glass',
